We are not relics of the SAP or ERP industry. We are the new generation.  A fresh pair of eyes and a different perspective.

We are business people who feel passionately that customers deserve an unbiased, impartial and objective business-side advocate to help them along the journey.

And although we know SAP S/4HANA, and have managed it in the  Microsoft Azure Cloud, we’re not here to replace your technical partner.  We’re here to help you and your team feel empowered to work at your best and get the most value out of your partners and project.

Because, looking back, this is exactly what we would have loved to have had.

Dom Henry

Dominic Henry

Dom is a SAP Certified Associate – SAP Activate Project Manager and an APMG Certified Change Management Practitioner focussed on helping business/client-side teams prepare and manage SAP S/4HANA implementations and business change initiatives.  

With a B.Eng, MSc, MBA and PhD, Dom loves to tackle complex challenges and he has a demonstrated history of leading people & projects.  He loves working with people & building strong collaborative relationships.

Dom has a commitment to best practice and is a proud member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM), and holds the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ), Prince 2 Practitioner, and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP foundation) qualifications.

He gained over a decade of international business experience in R&D, innovation, & supply chain, before leading the implementation of SAP S/4HANA 1809, hosted on Microsoft Azure Cloud, for a NYSE listed business.

Dom led the business-side implementation of SAP S/4HANA, which covered end to end business processes in Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing (MRP), Quality Management, Sales & Dispatch, Embedded Analytics & Reporting, and GRC. The programme brought together three businesses (UK/USA), retiring two legacy ERP systems, & creating one unified S/4 system hosted on Azure. This included: initiation, business case, supplier selection/negotiation, implementation, go-live, transition to BAU, compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley/GITC audit. Subsequently, he managed the S/4HANA system post go-live to ensure stability, management of AMS/Cloud partners, and IT audit.

Prior to this, Dom’s business and project management skills were honed & developed through extensive R&D experience in the aerospace, automotive, and biomedical industries; broad commercial experience in customer & supplier facing roles for aircraft interiors innovation; and global supply chain development.

He has worked with and visited customers and suppliers in many parts of Europe, the USA and Asia.  A love of working with people and embracing different cultures has meant that this has been as much a vocation as work, but it has also meant having a great appreciation of people as individuals and human beings.  We are not machines, and B2B (business to business) really is human to human.

In his role as Director and Founder at Range Consulting, Dom brings together this range of industries, international experience, and working with people to bring a fresh perspective and view on the ERP industry, an industry infamous for project failures and mediocre results.  He brings an objective, outsider viewpoint from someone who was pulled into the environment and saw a different way of working.

When not engaging to help others succeed at work, you will find Dom out and about hiking in the Peak District, playing the Bodhran (Irish drum), enjoying a game of rugby, or letting off some steam with martial arts.

Madeleine Thompson

Madeleine Thompson

Madeleine is an administration professional, with a career spanning nearly twenty years. 

Ever since her first secretarial gig on London’s famous Old Bond Street, Madeleine has supported people in a variety of industries.  Her roles have taken her from Yorkshire to London, to the Midlands, and back up North again, where her heart is. 

In and amongst these lovely roles, Madeleine was a member of the business support crew at the Royal Shakespeare Company, and after returning to her Northern roots, she became the Executive Assistant for a Health & Social Care charity where she looked after the CEO and the Board of Trustees.

In 2017,  she opened up her career toolbox, which was packed full of wonderful experience, knowledge and skills, and decided to venture out on her own and offer business and creative support to small businesses.   

At Range Consulting, Madeleine looks after Marketing and Business Operations.  She is excited to be part of Range’s mission and to be here at the inception of such an important business.

Away from work, Madeleine can be found with a notebook and pen, writing stories and poems, spending time with her family, and scaring herself watching horror films.
